At Ontario Estimating, we’ve worked on hundreds of custom home build projects, providing estimating services to builders, architects, and owners.
Our estimating philosophy centres on:
• integrity, honesty, objectivity, facticity
• independent unbiased evaluation and reporting of construction costs
• comprehensive pre-planning of the project so as to minimize unintended costs, whether from an undefined scope, or from construction issues
• value creation based on function, aesthetics and dollars.
We estimate projects throughout Ontario. Special geographic regions of expertise include Toronto region, Muskoka Lakes, Georgian Bay, Huntsville – Lake of Bays, Parry Sound, Sudbury.
Working with the builder, architect or owner, we seek to optimize value created for the owner, and ensure that the builder has a successful, profitable build project.

Custom residential projects are sometimes straight-forward build projects, but often they are innovative and/or complex, utilizing new technologies/materials from around the world. In all cases, the architectural details are particular and require fastidious attention.
We’ve worked with a wide range of suppliers from across the country and abroad to establish costs for many different material specifications and construction solutions. Researching new suppliers, products and construction technology is part of the process we undertake.
Estimating of custom residential construction projects is a fascinating process. It utilizes the latest in computer hardware, specialized programs, and involves working with innovative architects, builders, and subcontract technologies. It’s a special pleasure to work with owners either directly or through the builder or architect to achieve a magnificent creation.
